How Can I Love a Woman?
Her eyes cry stardust
disappearing into the air
the way her hair blows
when the wind gusts
over the land
I peer into the mirror
closer I see my face hasn't changed
No, I am not a man
to her I must seem so strange
No, I'm just a love struck girl
I can't give her what she needs
I feel something breaking
every time I see her with him
what if she saw me?
saw me for what I really am?
this world is a harsh place
but it's better when she's there
if only I could kiss her
hold her in my arms
so I can tell her she is loved..
but no..
she has him..
So can you tell me how I can ever...
tell me how I can ever love a woman?

Tis my firm belief that we choose not whom we love. We love. That betimes this does not mesh with certain expectations is, I believe, a construct: of society, of culture, of people for one reason or another, but an artificial thing.
Still, tis difficult to live within these constraints and experience them especially when those we love remain bound by and wedded to them. And, it sounds as though this may be the case here. It may not be, however.
Regardless, honoring yourself and your love is important and you've begun to do so. :-* As far as ever loving a woman is concerned, do remember this: there are many women within the world and you may find another one day who evokes within you love again and reciprocates. :-*

You have conveyed a sense of ethereal loveliness that leaves you nigh breathless and a very tender regard, this awareness that mayhap, though she is within a relationship, her needs for caring and love are not being met.
