Motion
Made the shape the bird on the rise this morning,
the shadow of which rose up and took flight,
taking lullabies of nighttime songs with it.
My heart sang for you
with the suns rise,
finding solace in your wisdom
as the sun fell onto the earth,
swaying where I sat
cross legged,
before my arms, outstretched,
began soaring above the clouds,
making the wings of a nightingale in motion
to be with you once again
showing my emotion
before falling into slumberness,
creating stories of devotion
without unfrequented affection,
of battles past,
battles to pass,
and love gained
with our arms in motion together
as we gave improvised proclamations
about strength and unity for all
travelers dark and sinister
scurrying on their way,
and those that linger, we sang and swayed,
singing about our faith in god almighty
and the plans he has for us.
the shadow of which rose up and took flight,
taking lullabies of nighttime songs with it.
My heart sang for you
with the suns rise,
finding solace in your wisdom
as the sun fell onto the earth,
swaying where I sat
cross legged,
before my arms, outstretched,
began soaring above the clouds,
making the wings of a nightingale in motion
to be with you once again
showing my emotion
before falling into slumberness,
creating stories of devotion
without unfrequented affection,
of battles past,
battles to pass,
and love gained
with our arms in motion together
as we gave improvised proclamations
about strength and unity for all
travelers dark and sinister
scurrying on their way,
and those that linger, we sang and swayed,
singing about our faith in god almighty
and the plans he has for us.
