A Good Hard Brick

Dirty-stick prods
ruthless to core.
Pending soul bile
crust cravenly sore.

Ne'er a whimper
neither a blink,
umbrageous impact
heart in slow sink.

A good hard brick
opens my mouth,
eyes squeezed tight
for solid kick down.

Regret leaks, hot
drips past the cheek..
of a girl, jaded
too proud to weep.

Arms open wide
bowed to m'knee,
esoteric silences
into this night, bleed.

Aweary tears plea
peace to commence.
Brick dust lies sour
tongue raw in defense.

Distrust be devil-
yet crowned fury seethes.
I'm no shrinkin' violet
but his sceptre'ed appease.

Saw mine own beauty
in deeply welled eyes.
Cindered castle a'fade
by damnation applied.

Soul-shatters in cry-
Halt Everlove's death!?
My hushed mortar weeps
Brick bouquet..sans breath.
