The gorgon's tongue is lashing into me
Like razor sharp barbs of enemies
Murder in her eyes like cold stone
Singing her song of utter misery
Venomous treasure between her thighs
Rule me, my queen, welcomed to her hive
I long to thrive here as a slave
Beyond the grave, never felt so alive

I'm cursed to live this half-life
With this poisoned thorn in my side
Is this fate of heredity?
Cast off the shackles of mortality

For her, for her
I will leave it behind

Her sweet lullabies of madness in droves
Described by the poets of the pits below
My heart, tenderized, left for dead
The burning bed, forgotten in shadows
Black lightning striking across the skies
Let the boiling rain wash away lies
The jagged knife across the throat
On the dead man's boat, I relive my plight

I'm cursed to live this half-life
With the River Styx by my side
Is this fate of heredity?
Cast off the shackles of mortality

For her, for her
I have left it behind

I want to believe that...
I want to know when the stars were born
Just for us, will you love me
In the heart of the storm?

A primordial beast of nature
Caught in the sands of time
The serpents sing your name
Medusa, when heart strings severed
We will curse Athena together
