Contentment
I live simply these days in the
quiet calm of summer.
Got my god and my books of poetry
and my memories to keep me satisfied
in this solitude I've chosen.
It all got so complicated out in
the world of man.
I had to walk away from the
only life I've ever known out of
a sense of self preservation.
It turns out that, in the end,
this is who I am.
