Cantata (re-edit)
Its when I'm out with you
and that kiss you give
not urgent
needy or hot
when we're working in unison
harmony
our union spirits crashing together
But soft
sensual
warm
loving
inviting
with the hint of more to come
just whats required
As you squeeze my hand
not needy
wanton or grasping
like when we're naked in throes
of passionata vocal cantata
but gentle to touch as a reminder
you are here for me always
no need for panic or knowing glances
to accompany what is undoubtedly glorious.

I love the musical metaphor found in this....you the recitative juxtaposed against his simple aria. Your heart gently singing it's affinity to love. the prettiest thing I've read today.
You've outdone yourself : )

Ahhh, Rose, luv ~ :-*
This is so achingly sweet. Such divine tenderness and incandescent loving. I truly love this poem.
You've created such a splendid tribute to love in its quiet and simple times, with no detraction from when it's passion-filled and volatile.
Tis exquisitely crafted, luv. :-*

Alwyas being there for the other in just the right way, without being too needy or demanding but just as a beautiful completion of the other's soul essence....
This is a a very sweet and touching piece and if you two have that kind of love which I suspect you do, then you are both very lucky indeed...... ;) ♡

It's how it should be
harmonious
joyous
togetherness
Without overpowering
glorious subtle moments
that'll sit comfortably in our hearts
