why is it so black?
why is it so hard to see? 
why do you let me suffer?

where the shadows lead
would you be there?
where its not so black
is there light somewhere?

could you walk upon the water?
when a flood reaches for you?
or would you drown in sorrow?

if i gave you the key
to unlock the dark
would you fight through the black?

if there is no light
would you then use my fire?
or would you carry the torch for me?
