Dear, Love

Countless days have past since we began
our journey together which is why I wanted to address
a few various apprehensions that
I know have been dwelling in the
recesses of your mind and I feel
in your heart as well, do you remember….
     
When I told you that you would love me…you didn’t listen
When I told you I would make you love me even more and you didn’t stop.
At the time I didn’t know if it was for fear of falling, or that you already had and couldn’t stop.
I wondered why you didn’t believe me then?
I wonder if you believe me now? But it doesn’t matter because I believe you.
     The way you look away from me, the way you look at me deep into my eyes,
maybe you can’t tell but it’s the same look, its something you can no longer hide.
     The way you move away from me to avoid my touch, the way you finally give in and embrace it,
it’s the exact same feeling.
     The way you say you miss me I don’t even have to wonder about, I know it’s a lie.  
Its jus what you have to say, but it doesn’t equate to half the amount of how you truly feel
and it is no comparison to the sum of your true longing.

If not for outside circumstances I do believe you would be more forward with your feelings
as I know you desperately want to.
But undyingly so I don’t think you have too many more secrets to hide from me.
I know how you feel when you look, touch, and miss me. I know all too well….
Even if you did try to hide I know I will break down your walls as I have always done and will continue to do…
