WHEN THE DOG WAKES US....
(Inspired by Push2Start's "We lie in bed", imaginably narrated from the woman's angle.)
To the sound of our prowling mutt
We woke in our bed, butt to butt.
“This dog needs taking out,” I said,
“Which one of us gets out of bed?”
I turned around, hugging my man
From behind, down front my hands ran…
The great thing about sleeping nude
Is, I can get him in the mood;
The touch of my smallest finger
Will bring him round, he won’t linger.
He said, “You’ve got me the right way;
For you, I’ll get out of the hay.”
After sharing a stroke of thighs,
He dressed, set to dog’s exercise,
Leaving me with undisturbed time
To finish sleep, then from bed climb.
Sometimes, it’s the other way round
When he awakes to our dog’s sound.
He’ll get me putting on my kit.
After some playing with my tit,
And a long drawn out, ardent snog
I’m raring to go walk the dog.
Even if the weather is grey
And damp, I’m set up for the day.
To the sound of our prowling mutt
We woke in our bed, butt to butt.
“This dog needs taking out,” I said,
“Which one of us gets out of bed?”
I turned around, hugging my man
From behind, down front my hands ran…
