The author encourages honest critique.
It's difficult when you feel that no one else understands what you're going through. It would seem the general attitude would be one, like Pink Floyd puts it,
"On the turning away
From the pale and downtrodden
And the words they say
Which we won't understand"
Maybe I am misunderstanding this post, but it just feels to me to be inundated with a desire for someone to stop long enough to care. Long enough to ease the suffering and loneliness. "Is it only a dream that there'll be No more turning away?"
How we walk with the broken speaks louder than how we sit with the great.
