When I look around
All that I see are cattle
Being herded to slaughter
By a so-called shepherd
Their voices resound
It's the sound of true evil
Ringing bells across the water
A din of chaos within the vespers
You made me a monster
Imprisoned in your world
I am chained inside this cage
Enraged demons speaking, deranged
All I can do is all I must do
I must drag these chains
Abandoned, I smile despite the pain
When the misanthropic devils reign
All I can do is all I must do
I must break these chains
Enduring winter
Eternal in stares, frigid
I long to take a hammer
To your so-called savior
Hang him with splinters
Yes, it might seem insipid
To all of you who steal banners
A prophet of doom, I will not waver
Look into the mirror
Tell me, what do you see?
I am chained inside this cage

I must drag these chains

The falling star
Last December
A fraud was born
To deliver
The world from evil
But, lo, the devil's
In man's heart
Set a course
To dismember
Lick the blood from my hands
Tell me, what does God taste like?

I feel ya, here; "The cow says moooo!" Now for the critique: You should be careful to proofread your work before submitting; the pronoun "I" is minimized a few times where it shouldn't be. Other than that, this would be a great death metal piece. ROCK ON!
