It was that I rarely could read my mother's handwriting, but it was wonderfully written. A lovely tribute to your Mother's lovely cursive; you have beautiful penmanship I enjoy reading.

I can't add anymore than what Pishashee said. Except, I think I am the only person (certainly that I know) that still treasures the lost art of handwritten letters. Cursive is all I use, be it for even notes or drafts. I guess I just like the connectedness and together flow. Print seems such the opposite. While I love space and the quiet meaning it creates, I seek it between the words vs syllables. I hope you still have your mother's writings.

I'd always 'wanted' to 'write pretty' (seriously), but my cursive always looked so ugly & clumsy...my hand-printing ain't'a much better, just less gross looking, so as soon as it was no longer compulsory, I dropped it quick. I do respect & admire it.

the style..defines elegance or whatever it is seen as. cursive writing style still appeals even in pc fonts but almost not easy for a continuous read.feels juz an antique, #JMO:)
