On Thought and Water Lilies
He talked about the thinkers as a voice I can listen to,
but I just listened and then reacted.
We're all so connected by life and the same things,
and to recognize it, such as geometries unseen is not easy.
There are the notes to a piece of music,
and then there is the silence that connects them,
Such is harmony
I wonder about the frogs from my porch swing,
there are chain reactions and a sequence
that breaks the silence, common manifestations
of porch peepers off in the distance,
aimless lovemaking over round the water lilies.
Wondering,
This is the difference in being told something
and believing, opposed to living and discovering.
One must truly think,
The frogs in the darkness,
and in the listening,
there is enlightenment in the silence.
but I just listened and then reacted.

Ahhh, Pishashee, luv ~ :-*
there is enlightenment in the silence.
Ahhhhh....
You've slain me with this. So excruciatingly exquisite, darling one.
Can't catch my breath...

Do you like frogs? I love listening to those little Spring peepers. :) Thank you so much, Savaja. You’re so gracious. I’m humbled.
re: re: Re: On Thought and Water Lilies
I rather like frogs. I remember carrying them around trying to make pets of them as a child. ;-p Heehee
You are most welcome, peerless one. :-*

This is so deep I can't get enough of reading it. I don't hear frogs outside too often but the way you describe it makes it so familiar. I love this. Your writing is amazing

there is understanding & knowledge gained in the sounds, but there must be bliss in the silence...

There is much to ponder in the silence. Thank you, John. I always appreciate it.

Silence isn't easily obtained but like you siad its the glue the same thing separating one though from another yet holding them together at the same time, you created quantum entanglement in word form lol your some kind of speach wizard

I'm one of thoes people that have loud thoughts that won't shut up when u wrote

It reminded me of quantum entanglement lol everything is connected but the connection cannot be observed through Human sences alone sorry if my comment is to long I just wanted to explain my senseless babbling about magic wonds but that line was guinness

I absolutely appreciate you connecting my poem to the laws of nature in a quantum crescendo. I respect the aspects and use them when and where I can. Many times in combination with Taoism, and so there is both principals at work there, and then an experience. You saw it for what it was and understood it. People usually just send me articles and make me guess what they’re saying. Truly I thank you. You’re never too loud when you want to talk about science. When I was writing that part of the poem I was thinking about Newton, and how he connected the motion of planets. There is beautiful geometry in the dance of planets round the heavens. Pythagoras said there is music in the spheres.

“But the connection cannot be observed through Human senses” I love and appreciate this, but don’t you think the senses can connect it? At least detect it? But I guess that is purely metaphysical to the world we live in and feeling a relationship with the universe.
Yet it’s still true it cannot be observed without measurement. Thank you for saying this! And here you have hit on something I’ve been working on (forever it seems): the differentiation of the observer effect and Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, actually. I have been stumped for years on how the observer effect gets confused when speaking over atomic action. I get even more bemused explaining it. The thing about it is, is that it cannot be observed without a tool of measurement at the atomic level, where then the tool of measurement is what changes the action, not the eye itself. Basically, the eye cannot see an electron. Regardless, I really appreciate the comments.

Sorry for the delay, there is no noise or indication when I receive messages, the dance of infinity is mimicked in our DNA in our protons electrons and neutrons, to a degree I do believe that we can feel the connection between us and the universe if we withdraw our attention from distraction (our own perceptions) and focus on the little things in total and utter silence, you don't need a telescope to observe the celestial bodies because the universe is in our heads, it may be a metaphysical observation but if a tear drop is all we can drink inside a desert then we should cry our eyes out, you are trully unique.

I was obsessed with tadpoles as a little girl and in their transformation. I thought they were the coolest thing in this world. Forsoothingly cool are all the little froggies. Thank you so much for the comment, I really appreciate it.
