Unlimited Decisions

I like to watch a woman dress
systematic and serene
from those garments close to the skin
to the clasps on the jacket
for her so void of meaning
but for me a delightful dance

And decisions galore
patterned hose and with what shoes
the length of skirt and color of panties
type of blouse and what about earrings
jeans over the boots
and what about jewelry

Some choices have a history
like the ring handed down
others a question of comfort
and do I dare suggest
even intentionally calculated
to set off a ravenous suitor

So even though us guys may get frustrated
at the time and effort required to get it right
the end result is a reward by itself
and adds joy in taking each layer
to discover the bare necessities
