Assumption
I'd tell you a story
though
you'd have to lend me your ear
a drink or two;
Make them long and tall in
smokey glass;
And I
like my tale to tell
whispering
twisting
back and forth
earthward bound
winding pathwards
till your door be found
preventing my voice
from its leaving
breathless imprints
captured
on ear drums beating
Though
maybe brief of tongue wagging
this inclusion
small incision
a swirl of leaves to a
sudden gust
till settled
rearranged
calm
different the outlook found
In it's conclusion
an assumption it isn't
on little given in change
as the mind lays many footprints
Hot to cold air being
breathed out on a lovers
darkened veil from under the
scope ×2
my discoveries
unchanged the world
won't turn many keys
to answers found
unlocked without mystery
I carry many trinkets
amulets without power
goblets of wishful truth
to pour out many a sorrowful taste
[i]come..come
I insist
have a seat
and your ear I'll tell unforgotten tales into.
