Two-Point Perspective
He feels the impulses of nature in his dance
She sees his grace in his steps
He observes her observation of his momentary union
He sees her distance from where he stands
Her eyes lines up to meet his eyes
She reaches towards him
He senses her touch and draws her closer
She allows him to embrace her
He kisses her as passionately as the rain pours while his hands run through her rich black hair
She breathes heavy enough to cloud the sounds of palpitation
His distance from her disintegrates.
He has grown older and weaker
She has cared for him through the years
He maintained their inseparability
She caresses his cheek as they lay by the tree one sunny afternoon.
He looks at the tree hovering in earnestness
She feeds him an apple
He no longer had the strength to accept her nourishment.
She senses his fragility
He says he must be moving on now.
She feels his trembling body as his spirit is released
He catches the wind to offer one last kiss.
She tears one last time and let's him go.
She buries him and is alone.
He knows the distance will always be the same.
