Dreams and aching limbs ( edited first posted feb 2014 )
I dream as only lovers can
of ivory smooth and white
hid from the sun's cruel stare
robes discrete, none shall see
save me, beneath the aspen tree.
Show me the grove where the opal lies
hold my hand take me to the place
I dream both day and night
no earthly jewel more bright
let me kiss, worship as I kneel
gentle as the honey bee.
Butterfly wings unfurl
scents of joy, tastes of heaven
Let us share our nectars,
slip into the rose as petals fall
give your breast, quench my thirst,
comfort my tongue,
Press your belly to my thighs
feel the warmth deep, uterine
mixing dreams and aching limbs.
