Destined To A Life In The Cave?

Ten thousand miles I roam
with only what I can carry on my back
a vagabond of my own choice
for I have yet to find what I seek
in fact at moments not sure
what that is

My resolve battered and torn
with questions and doubt
that define my human condition
better however then
a life that is easy yet boring

The pulse quickens when
vibrancy of feelings shut off
bombard an otherwise catatonic state
as if I am blinded by such fierce illumination

No pity found in thy eyes
as if a beast is pursued
nourishing ancestors' habits
slamming thought into an act of possession
as if capture even a possibility
and uncouth vocabulary a norm

Projection based on provocative attire
Temptation of the hottest degree of fire
Frustration in a lack of instant success
Dedication to seek a remedy to the mess

The mammal dance spiced to erotic taste...
