My Precious Jewel
The moon's delicate radiance
Is but a pale imitation
Of your shimmering glory
She could never compare
To the warm earnestness
Of your august smile
Her luminous rays are
But an elegant backdrop
For your wondrous green eyes
She is borial when I
Behold the flaming passion
Risen in your comely rugged cheeks
Hail the rising of my sun
The light that illuminates my soul
Your enchanting mystifying voice
Low velvet thrum in my ears
Harken to my desperate plea
I yearn for your irresistible touch
As it soundly impels all
Coherent thought to flee
The silken vibrancy of your words
Entices me, lures me in
To your torrid embrace
Your sweet delectable kisses
Intoxicate my very self
Senses reeling, head spinning
You steal my tormented nightmares
Precious jewel of my existence
Every moment I must spend
Without your awesome brilliance
Is an eternity of blackest despair
The void of the maelstrom pales
In comparison to the desolation
I experience without your company
Your tender uplifting embrace
May the glint of our adulation
Illuminate the way of your
Disquieting diurnal course
Strike the adumbration from your path
I adore you with every
Vibrating particle and energy
Within my very being...

The inspiration was perfect. Started as a greeting for his day, but it wasn't sufficient, so I improved it. It still pales in comparison to how I feel. Thank you GOB!
