Grandfather often said
While wryly smiling
"There be but two groups of people in this world
Thems that Scot
And thems that wish they were"
       
Truth be told
I've met multitudes of people
And there are more than two groups
Though I confess this
While smiling that same variety
       
Fact is, Grand fathered
Twenty-two, a large family
"To whom much is given
Much is expected"
He told all, emphatically
     
We believed, and still do
Many people wish to learn more
After witnessing
This family of sturdy stock
Male and female alike
   
Spiritually
Emotionally
Physically
Strong
Consistent
   
Souls expressing compassion
Promoting freedom, liberty
Flowing with integrity
Offering the way
Filled with example
   
Never mistake our kindness for weakness
We do not tolerate rudeness
Nor disrespect, nor idleness
Working, living, sharing common goals
Our expectations always high
   
Yes, we stumble
Apologies given
Boldness cast in humility
Convincingly invincible
Diplomatically demanding
     
Complex
Simple
Constant
Seekers of
Self improvement
