In pandemonium

We have to talk things through
as tomorrow seems so far away
unless we want to lie in yesterday's grave
we have to make what we can of today

our truth can set us both free
or our souls will be buried in pandemonium
its important to look into the light
and the hope that is shone

we only see ourselves in a dream
still believing in that spark
ashamed in the shattered love
trying to avoid the dark

sealing everything with a false smile
only to drain the anger and grief
trying to shadow the jealousy and greed
we only cry in the end for release
