My man's gone away hunting
I wish for his safe return
in time
I'll sing songs
about feeling blue
my voice carrying love
messages
so he might hear across the plains
and feel better about being away
taking delight from knowing he's thought
about often.

This is timeless Rose ... Whether "hunting" is a day out fishing with his mates or a cross country trip to land a new account ... there is always that anxiety in wanting his safe return home.
