the sea of stars

As i lay calmly
i close my eyes
take a calm deep breath
i say my goodbyes

staring into the raven skies
watching the moon
seeing its crescent glow
not wanting to come back so soon

watching the stars
so far yet so close
see them shining like diamonds
im starting to wounder where my mind goes

as i watch the sea of stars
sparkling and shining 
over my troubles and fears
my dreams slowly combining 

i lay in my room
staring up to the sky saying:
'where the fuck is the ceiling!'
