Too Rich for My Blood
With the view of your face
I can hear the heavens sing
All I know suddenly flies out the window
No longer wishing to live a life of lackluster
I want to become someone significant in your eyes
Someone that can live up to ones beauty and grace
Thinking maybe I could pretend my way into that world
You’re just too wonderful
(Yeah, yeah)
For a man that’s miserable
Your way to spiritual
For a man that lost all hope
(Yeah, yeah)
Maybe In a flawless world
You would be the perfect girl
But you’re just too beautiful
And I’m just not good enough… for you
The stars shine a little bit brighter on these revamped nights
Every moment we speak my mind races with blissful thoughts
Drawing us closer together with each passing day
We start to find comfort in our complaisant talks
Beginning to connect with each other on a whole different level
But there’s a point where overwhelming jealousy consumes me
Thinking some other guy is waiting to take you away
You’re just too wonderful
(Yeah, yeah)
For a man that’s miserable
Your way to spiritual
For a man that lost all hope
(Yeah, yeah)
Maybe In a flawless world
You would be the perfect girl

Your face is the thing that dreams are made out of
That hair being the flow to my air
Soft skin that heals all wounds
A laugh that punches my heart right out of my chest
But with all this, you just can’t seem to understand, I’m a broken man
Grew up rough like a dirty street rat
No matter how much I wish to live the life of a prince

This is beautiful writing. It is you that's the painter. All the elements are there and I was on the edge of every word. It's just awesome throughout and it really held my attention. Loved the (Yeah, yeah)'s ! :)
