Minds Melody

so here I am.
I’m standing on the edge
flirting with death
with nothing but my thoughts
and minds melody.
swinging swaying
I’m wondering,
if I jumped would they say I fell?
it’s a simple question that deserves a simple answer.
just a yes or just a no.
that's all I need,
to stay to go.  
so here I am again.
I’m dangling my legs over the side
dabbing my feet in and out of the water,
here again with my thoughts and minds melody.
dipping splashing
I’m wondering
if i dive now would they say i drowned?
can you answer me yet?
are you ready for a playful bet?
so here i am once more.
I’m focused,
watching a steady flame
with nothing more but my thoughts
and minds melody.
flickering flaring
I’m wondering
if i let go would they say I lost control?
now I haven't all day, tell me what'd you say
