Haunted By Texts
I remember dirty texts
At midnight when we
Both knew we are alone
The pictures linger
I remember the way you'd
Tell me how you would
kiss me after you pushed
your fingers deep into me
I remember how I would text back
How I would moan in excitement
As my own fingers would do as
You implied in your words
I remember the sex but not you
Don't remember your favorite color
Though I do not remember your birthday
Sorry, I only remember the digital sex
I remember it all too much, too well
I dream of your texts all the time
Once again I have betrayed myself
I wrote about you once more
At midnight when we
Both knew we are alone
The pictures linger
I remember the way you'd
Tell me how you would
kiss me after you pushed
your fingers deep into me
I remember how I would text back
How I would moan in excitement
As my own fingers would do as
You implied in your words
I remember the sex but not you
Don't remember your favorite color
Though I do not remember your birthday
Sorry, I only remember the digital sex
I remember it all too much, too well
I dream of your texts all the time
Once again I have betrayed myself
I wrote about you once more
