Crippled Soul
looking into tears of a crippled soul
not knowing who I look upon this very moment
such sadness in her heart dripping from weary eyes
like an unknown demon darkness haunts
trying to convince herself it's not how it seems
that nothing is lost but seeming not much gained
feeling alone with many voices silenced
when she truly only needed a little luv to bloom
emptiness revealed looking upon her tear streaked face
strength creeps within a near empty bottle
as she seeks an answer from another swig of liquid fake luv
convinced there isn't a right one to help her crippled soul
remaining to look for reasoning in all the wrong places
not recognizing many warm hearts await her to give luving hugs
closer to death with each swallow she takes

"When she truly only needed a little love to bloom." That line breaks my heart, Flower. A sad poem, but beautiful. "Closer to death with each swallow she takes." I just hope this is in no way about you.

Sweet Crow.....thank you for sharing such luving concern for me......this is me in the aspect I used to be this way.....you're first pick of words is actually a lot of me and how I feel about a situation.....most of this was inspired by another write.....it very much provoked emotions within my soul......thank you for sharing your thoughts......xo :)
