POEM INSPIRED BY MAHOGANY WOOD'S 'PRELUDIUM TO THE RIGHTS OF SPRING'
This was inspired by Mahogany Wood's poem in this section, particularly by its accompanying picture.
“A young man’s fancy turns to thoughts of love”;
His woman on her back, and him above,
Lovemaking tried out in the great outdoors
As Nature’s beauties come out of their stores.
New life’s promises echoing around
As upon each other with lust they pound,
Their bodies glisten in the spring sunshine
While their bare limbs with eagerness entwine.
