I love you

Its three little words.
Some people can hardly say.
Because their hearts have been broken.
Three little words.
With so much meaning.
The power to make a persons day
Or break a persons heart.
Why is it so awkward to say it.
In relationships.
Maybe because it isn't true.
Can't lie. Don't wanna.
But that's probably not right.
Because so many people can't say it at all.
To anyone. To no one.
Not even to themselves.

But I say it.
Those three words with so much power.
Those three words.
I say it often. I say it all the time.
I say it to everyone.
Because I know.
I've lost so many people.
And never had the chance
To tell them how much they mean.
I tell my friends and family and I mean it.
I say it freely. Because its true.
And everyone needs to hear it.
I say it to myself,
Even when its a lie,
Because if I don't, nobody will.
I've lost so much, so many.
I want them to know.
I want them to know how much they mean.
I love them.
I love you.
I love me.
I love everyone.
That wasn't so hard, was it.
Maybe we should say it more.
Get all this hate out of our systems
Before they crash.
Hate is a virus,
Malware,
Hate is a disease that spreads like butter
But stains like blood.
So maybe instead of focusing on everyone we hate,
We focus on who we love
And realise that maybe the ones we hate hate themselves.
Hate is a an infection and maybe those three little words are the cure.
So stop.
Look at someone you love.
Tell them
Tell them how much they mean to you.
And that you love them.
