Just another daunting day
For this emissary of higher learning
Expediting programs with finesse
The pressure mounts
But she can direct it with ease
A steady assurance and grace
They respect her
Those presentations of enormous persuasion
Her vision convincing
Never to be casually dismissed
A friend sits back and marvels
Notes her accomplishments
That poise on a stepping stone
Green eyes filled with wisdom, laughter
And final victory.

Is this professional admiration comingled with a degree of infatuation?
Without background and context it's hard to tell, and the lines are warm but oh so subtle, one can't be sure.
