 All set to go
your colleague from work
getting held up for being intoxicating
whilst drinking
watching him
finishing two litres from the bottle
cider and it's strong aftertaste
before the suns rise

Before the flight check weapons check
those magazines full of scantily clad
agreeing that there was little cover up
too easy to access
but then you browsed
page by page
why
why you do that?
Your blustering
found your excuses
left echoing

Ready to go
first flight departed
dearly beloved some weeks before
four day flight
no contact
fully loaded
what's in that last bag?
