Rina this about says it all. A well composed, honest and scathing social commentary...my favorite bits are:
"thumbing the thesaurus
for pages of nobility
to justify actions, sanctions
shifting responsibility"
and
"...the bones today do not
possess the marrow
of yesterday."

GW, recently I had a conversation with a friend, that we are at a point in history that we have no choice but to admit, that we have learned nothing, despite all the tool and information.
I guess to some degree humans have regressed, they don't make them like they used to, in a nutshell.
Thank you for picking out some fav lines, and commenting.

Burn the books
history, religion and philosophy
we have learned nothing
nothing
the grit and steel
of men and women
with iron fists
courage running incessantly
thru their veins
revolution frothing
from eyes of flames
un-bowing to tyranny
Amen to this!
Seems you have develloped a new style of writing,Rina, always look forward to reading your work, so much energy and originality, very inspiring!

Thanks for your wonderful compliment Mourganna.
I'm not sure if we will ever define ourselves with one style, since we are constantly evolving, but i have to attribute the change to couple of editors i befriended during my hiatus couple months ago.

Rant writes do not fair well with edits, i tried to leave it as is, written in the moment, with passion for the cause.
Thanks much Lena :)

There are many things I feel passionate about and handful of things which i can't resist but strongly fight for it, any chance I get, namely injustice, inequities and unfairness.
Thanks so much JeJe for adding and for rooting for the same cause and feeling.

After the parade of praise, I'm going to be the butthead following up with a mild criticism.
[[[Burn the books
history, religion and philosophy

nothing]]]
I think the second [[[nothing]]] falls flat.
Some alternative lines in the same vein would make for a real kick in the balls. I don't want to say what those lines could be, because it is not my place to rewrite another's work.

I always found some analogy of coming behind the parade as in sitting in the back of the classroom ;)
Thanks Mary for leaving your thoughts, and i agree, that second 'nothing' looks like it needs an exclamation point, to fix things.
