Greetings, Death!
Just, thought I would say hi!
Yes. "You,do know who I am". You've knocked at my door a time or two. What calls for such visit, You maybe asking. Well honestly... I know, its selfish of me.... But I thought, that it wouldn't hurt to try to become friends with You. Knowing soon You will be knocking again.
No, I am not here, asking if You'll skip me by. Cause I have begged one too many times.... I figure that such is only maybe granted to a very few. Thinking instead, of begging, if I just welcome it.... And walk along side You.... Maybe just maybe You will take it slow, and allow me time to adjust and say my fair wells when its time to my Itancanka, family and friends along the way....
I'll walk with You hand to hand.. No fuss. I welcome You.... For a while, maybe! If its alright with You, can we just be friends... Take me by the hand, please lets walk a bit...just untill my heart is ready!.. Please, this isn't me trying to fool You. Its just that I have a daughter and Grandson... That isn't ready for me to leave yet. Promises that has been made... That I must keep, so they'll find their way... For there is angels waiting to guide them rest of the way... So that we may rejoice from heaven up high walking through them pearly gates
Note: Even though this isn't as long as I normally write.. its a piece I started back when I had a health scare... And knowing none of us knows what tomorrow holds... I decided to finish it and have it just incase If my soul ever feels the need for it...
