Nothing controls us like it does.
Nor is there a substitute.
Love bites and leaves its mark.
Whether the mark be painful or pleasant depends upon our choice. Love is whatever we choose to make it.

Thanks for the insight Chad. You are absolutely right.
Even love that is short lived is a beautiful thing. It is a time in one's life that another brought them happiness and while it may hurt when it's gone, you have to find peace knowing you were loved. Maybe a better time or place would better suit that love. I am a born romantic and believe in fate, love at first site and happily ever after. If you don't believe in those things then you aren't really allowing yourself to be truly loved. (My opinion anyway!).
