Spring in the Northeast
It's kinda here
Yet still wearing all my winter gear
Friends report flower sightings though
In remote parks on the far west side
Like every year it all bursts at once
Lovers holding hands on the avenue
Like the winter never crossed their paths
Sunglasses, shorts, a promise of better days
You and I will be the lovers in tow
Our near 14 year old dog in a wagon
Heading to the local park
Sunshine on our shoulders, no more friggin' snow
Yet still wearing all my winter gear
Friends report flower sightings though
In remote parks on the far west side
Like every year it all bursts at once
Lovers holding hands on the avenue
Like the winter never crossed their paths
Sunglasses, shorts, a promise of better days
You and I will be the lovers in tow
Our near 14 year old dog in a wagon
Heading to the local park
Sunshine on our shoulders, no more friggin' snow

Damit! I was in the park Sunday, near the lake, walked over rocks, under tunnels, crisp air, no leaves on trees.....but it was sunny and beautiful. Looking forward to more colors ; )

It snowed this morning ... 2 - 4 inches expected on Long Island. What I'd give to be in LA watching my Badgers play in a few hours ... This winter sucked.

Whisky ad spring sunshine - great things for defrosting the soul.
This is a cute little snippet of PS life, easy to savour and enjoy (like a good malt).
Oh I have finally managed to locate a merchant that sells the Redbreast 15 y.o. pot still, now to devise an excuse for the boss to splash the $$$ on a tasty bottle - I'll let you know once I am successful with a poem about the Dram.

Sounds righteous
Kicking back tonight with some Redbreast 12
Had some Green Spot pure pot still earlier, Green Spot is rather special too. Long tasty finish
