[ Bad Raps ] Words With Felons

    
Ineligible to win any and all  
poetry contests --- now just a con
with a tiny rock hammer     
scratching verse unintelligable  
on my cell wall
       
I be robbins banks of angst         
thanks to the Warden
affordin' zero time served
for this rap undeserved ---         
lets the General Population         
come at me with shanks as I shower  
with felons, feelin' unnerved by the hour  
over bending down for any soap
         
as Hope for early parole
they yanks from me annually
in reprisal wickedly dope  
for the clanks of my chain gang  
gangsta wannabe poetry
     
all because I fell on hard times;         
ratted out by a stool pigeon         
wise to my life of lyrical crimes      
now caged with these other dirty
birds for abusing words, using    
them twice in my rhymes ---         
but that's bound to happen when    
 
you're in for a long run-on sentence
