Breathless
Breathless
As Trees
run past me
In Dreams
I am
Fearless
As the sky
opens up
In Magenta
and Orange
Bursts....
Breathless
As A Breeze
Picks me up
and Lifts me
To Dance with
Birds
Soaring over
Mountaintops
Breathless
I close my eyes and
Hug myself
As I enjoy the feel of
white cotton
over my ethereal skin
Breathless
To be seen in spirit
and not just the flesh
Yet I have to remind myself that
I am just dreaming
Breathless
As childhood memories
Of Icecream screaming
into swimming pools
and lazy summer days engulfs me
I am Breathless
Remembering all
These things
As My Astral Body
Beams me
From One
Thought to the Next
Breathless
waking feeling
like an enigma
Breathless
Believing
I have been
back to the past
and Into the Future...
Instantly
I see
Instantly
I understand
I want to be...

Forever...

It feels so liberating to be breathless. That's a heady, high ride. Good release, Phoenix Queen!
Wow, this is beautiful and, without sounding cliche, a bit profound. I loved the imagery and free flow. And it ended so deeply. This must of been interesting to write.
