As It Flows
He removes his tie
He neatly rolls it
He removes his shirt
And neatly folds it
Removes his trousers
Folds seam to seam
Takes off his vest
In striptease theme
Takes off his shoes
He drops them neatly
Removes his shorts
Hiding under discretely
Now naked
His grapes of wrath
He pours himself
A nice cold bath
Sinking down
He gets the chill
Open razor
He feels the thrill
Lies a while
Frozen skin
Questions when
He should begin
His cuts are bold
Each wrist in turn
Despite the cold
He feels the burn
A life well lived
No love returned
Each time relived
Each time got burned
A family’s hate
He had to bare
No love rebate
They didn’t care
Then there was her
The one he’d loved
It was just a blur
To reach unloved
As the blood drains
He starts to fret
Oh, as the blood rains
He feels regret
As lifes blood escapes
Happy memories appear
like family video tapes
and smiles like souvenirs
lost all his hate
His panic grows
But it’s all too late
As the blood flows
He neatly rolls it
He removes his shirt
And neatly folds it
Removes his trousers
Folds seam to seam
Takes off his vest
In striptease theme
Takes off his shoes
He drops them neatly
Removes his shorts
Hiding under discretely
Now naked
His grapes of wrath
He pours himself
