The Thousandth Time

Too many times I have listened
And too many times I have witnessed
The shortcomings of man
The cards were dealt
By your own hand

A triple threat bet chiseled and set
As days linger away into night
Your time draws near and eyes are wet
With tears of years and growing plight

No fortitude, only attitude
Living in your servitude
It�s only logical, biological
Your sabbatical is sad and true

Dig down deep and grow a pair
Instead of hiding behind a mask
Peel off the face you wear
Then fight demons of today
Bury tyrants of the past

No latitude, only longitude
Dying in your solitude
Mercy is minuscule and fanatical
So damn critical, cut deep and true

I�ve heard your lies a thousand times
You�re living on borrowed knees
I�ll watch you die a thousand times
It never gets old for me

Have your problems? I don�t care
The cataclysm is raining down
Shrouded in shame you wear
Yes, I know just why you pray
Watch you die without a sound

Hypocrite, delinquent
It�s growing old
Obsessive, repressive
To lies you hold
Symbiotic, pathetic
Pushed against a wall
Genetic, Synthetic
I�ll watch you fall

No gravestones atone for your past wrongs
Your swansong is music to my ears
Wasting away to skin and bones
Your days they stay in lakes of tears

The aptitude and your gratitude
Equals zero magnitude
It�s mythological, neurological
You�re illogical, the shit you spew

My certitude is so absolute
On this lonely avenue
Damage collateral, it�s fantastical
I�m not rational in my hatred for you

I�ve heard your cries a thousand times
It�s your life among the fleas
You�ve crossed the line a thousand times
It�s gotten old for me
I�ve heard your lies a thousand times
You�re living on borrowed knees
