Now I Lay Me

Now I lay me down to sleep,
Don't pray to God, no soul to keep
If I should wake before I die.
Just promise me I'll have my time.
Demons haunt me through the night.
And faulter in the morning light.
If I should live another day,
I know that I will have to pay.
I sold myself to the devils care.
I'm never going anywhere.
