Megan

And there you were, amidst the rains,
A tsunami to rival the tear soaked lawn.
I saw you far out in the plains.
Breaking the way forward, towing dawn.
Your approach held no hesitation,
You sat at my fire and spoke with delight.
As we carried on our conversation,
The firelight surrendered- you were so bright.
Before I knew it, night came and went,
Laughs perpetual as the rain had been.
Rooted to the spot, enraptured by our chat,
In the dusty recesses of society's outskirts,
We sat.
