Black Tears
Black tears fall from the sky
as the couple gracefully twirls,
spinning, and spinning
in an endless loop.
Of unending pain and anger.
their fists fly, like dusty dragon flies,
and words sharp,
like a double bladed sword.
Leaving shallow cuts in themselves
and whoever bares to witness,
their brutality.
As the sun rises,
they slow their pace,
but they still twirl,
just slower,
less noticeable,
hiding the brutality,
the pain and anger.
Pretending.
That their endless twirling,
will in fact, come to an end,
and they may believe it
for sometime.
but the endless,
graceful twirling,
always gets faster.
When the black tears fall from the sky.
as the couple gracefully twirls,
spinning, and spinning
in an endless loop.
Of unending pain and anger.
their fists fly, like dusty dragon flies,
and words sharp,
like a double bladed sword.
Leaving shallow cuts in themselves
and whoever bares to witness,
their brutality.
As the sun rises,
they slow their pace,
but they still twirl,
just slower,
less noticeable,
hiding the brutality,
the pain and anger.
Pretending.
That their endless twirling,
will in fact, come to an end,
and they may believe it
for sometime.
but the endless,
graceful twirling,
always gets faster.
When the black tears fall from the sky.
