Feeling again and hiding
sandwiched between slumber and light
warmth of embraces between the sheets
lips meeting the breathing mouth
aspire to take and conquer
the breath of desire inhaled
there, reaching out and touching
the slow ripples of desire
needles that prickles
beneath the smooth skin
taut and tight reaching out
burying home sheathing the sword
small cries of pleasure
the drumming of the hearts
signals for tempo, song of sirens
grasping to be of one flesh
shooting up and in
eyes flutter open
just nothingness
entangled beneath the sheets
just a patch of wetness
feeling again wanting again
she hides.

This sounds like a tentative return to love and pleasure, but it's a response limited by doubt and pain. There will be more to it than "a patch of wetness" eventually. It may take time, but if she had it once she can have it again. She may be hiding but at least she's wanting, and that's progress. The feeling is very eloquently presented, Grace. It's always good to read you.

It is nice to feel, yet with the feelings pain comes in too. To see and to desire yet scared of repudiation. been there did that...and the pain is always exquisite. Never fails. Thanks for reading Crowfly.:)
