Enigma is actually Enigma Rose, a character I've featured in a few poems.  She's unusually tender here.

Riding away sounds like retreat either for sanity's sake or the need to try and escape something currently haunting you.

Hah!  "Enigma sounds like a stable comfort."  Great pun given the presence of Blazing Blue.  Enigma is Enigma Rose, a character I've featured in a few poems.  In this one she's a saving grace.  In the others she's utterly lethal.  Fortunately not to me.  Not much to do with reality here.    

this doesn't sound much like the enigma rose that i know, but i'm glad she's tender once in awhile. :)

She's just taking a break.  She'll probably kick some more ass later.
