I'd lay alongside you
we'd lay together
walk too
holding hands from bar and restaurant
kitchen to sofa
and we'd talk, talk about..well,  
just randomness I guess,
but we'd make the words feel alive,
feel like we'd been reading from the classics
with you being my Heathcliff to my Cathy,
and maybe I'll be Emily too.., 
and we'd go write some more for each to hear,
just the romantic lines reading out.
 
But whatever we write
it'll always feel like we was made to be more than friends,
just a normal loving couple.
