Pushing it home

Swallow a few beers;
listen to the worthy scream...
are they here
or dancing around our insides?

Expletives and self admitted
traits strangle our quiet time.
Camp strolls cover
my periphery whilst I watch
blubber stare at my face.

The sad dance as a fat suit
falls in to his seat.
Meanwhile confidence strikes
its friends with ugliness.

It is sad and terrible
-men sweat.
I am here to watch them.
They all suffer
to their own drunken
directions.

My silence is a fight;
peaceful and victorious.
