Our intentions,

Because were so concerned

Of people’s opinions,

Believing in something

We don’t understand,

Digging in the past

To find the truth,

Digging for forgiveness

To embrace wisdom,

Acceptance, maturity,

To grow as individual

As a person in society,

Denying who we are meant to be

Afraid to accept mistakes,

What’s the difference

Between you and I?

We both have the same goals

And same dream,

Climbing the ladder

To be forever great,

But its sad to say

Were more focus

Tearing down a foundation

We once built

For our own satisfaction,

Because of the people

We associate ourselves with,

Lost sight of the true meaning

Of being good friends first,

Trying to settle; only to full fill

The emptiness in our hearts,

Its only satisfying cherishing

Someone who you love,

That loves you back

Same feeling you presented

If not more,

We have the ability to see deep

Into things such as beauty,

But our visions are glazed

With such chaos and hatred,

Because coming into this cold

World; our minds already set,

Brainwashed that’s being passed

On from generation to generation,

Never taking the time

To voice our own thoughts,

Breaking the cycle

Is the greatest sin,

That’s why all eyes on you

When becoming different,

We believe what we see

On the outside,

But inside a person’s heart

Answers we shall find,

That’s why art is such

A charismatic form of life,

No line, nor color is ever wrong

Only the eyes of the beholder

Can determined the message,

Writing in the honor of great

People and friends,

This message is built

Based on their perspectives,

Your voice is now heard

So let’s change this cold world

Forever together let’s take a stand
