Earth v Human Life

Earth
with it's unique blend
the right mix of everything required.
 
Life
with it's unique style
Evolved over time
 
They'll come a time,
Earth will fight back,
be saying she will,  
enough is enough!
too much  
too many
and this..  
this human species
going to fuck it all up for every living thing
why?
Coz they is the master race
the intelligent species afterall..
it's what they do
warlike
greedy  
manipulative of the land,
other species
their own kind.  
 
Earth
one day
she'll show her anger
her wrathful thoughts.  

intelligent humans that they are,
will kneel and pray,
as they do in times of stress  
asking for forgiveness  
to a being they've only read about in books
never seen
known existed.
 
Maybe they should look to themselves  
salvation
look for the answers  
within
but alas
sigh,
they will not
Because they are afterall,  
a most powerful species
yes indeed..
but..within the cosmos as a whole  
they are but specks of nothing
to only be seen only under powerful microscope
 
anyway,
let them kneel and pray,
prattle on about how great they are
there's no saving those that are blind to being saved.
