milk of human kindness
breasts hold me in thrall
i sit and look at them long and hard
i have held them in my hands
they carry the weight of the world
i have wrapped my lips around them,
felt the heat in my loins
life giver, a thing of joy, sustainer
draw forth the milk of human kindness,
suckle, she held you to her breasts,
withheld nothing
it is what holds us together
mother and son
mother and daughter
friend and lover
even a stranger
there is no wedge
that can drive us apart
breasts, you see a cleavage
an engorged nipple
it is life affirming
holds forth a promise
of things to come
babies to be born
look at it
in the rise and fall life resides
defile it not
touch it but gentle
bring your hands together
bow your head
worship
