Running Free

When the sky became bright blue, the yellow dot peeking over yonder vale
It would be said, in fact often heard if one would venture outside..
of how the yellow dot could bring on instant smiles upon faces of those
that lingered to long on the frown for most of the darker months, this was true.

But we cared little for the bright light and any sign of yellow dot high up
Me and you, you and I, we had our smiles earlier, no no, not smiles but
broad grins to giggling childish fanfare as we chased around the house a
clothed item left trailing from room to room, ripped, torn or that watch me
remove oh so slowly, before running off shouting out anything that sprang to
mind, naughty words to some dirtier ones with the entanglement of those all
important love ones keeping it together, like the post it notes left on the fridge
that said...
I love you..Ps get your ass back into bed now woman!
those kinda ones.

So it was, came as no surprise, to find us wrapped up in feet and arms snoozing
the day away, waiting on the night and its special nocturnal qualities that made
us spring into life.
